Dr. Nandini Sanyal has over 10 years of teaching and research experience in the field of applied psychology and is presently post-graduate coordinator in the Dept. of Psychology, St. Francis College for Women. She has received several awards for her exceptional research work in the areas of positive, educational, health and organizational psychology. Nandini has completed with distinction numerous teacher training courses. In addition to this, Nandini has enabled several students to pursue their doctoral degrees at international universities. Ms. Korgaonkar has completed her masters in psychology from SNDT University, mumbai with a specialisation in counselling psychology. She has successfully completed numerous psychological courses on art therapy, clinical music therapy, learning disabilities, counselling skills, etc. which all aid her in the counselling practice with adolescents and young adults. She has worked in many well established institutions as a counselor and continues to provide counselling services in the area of guidance and counselling, marriage and family issues, geriatric issues, etc.
Aditi also has keen interest in research where she can explore the multiple facets of an individual 's personality particularly of young adults. Her research interests are in the area of altruism, prosocial behaviour, power distance and personality psychology. And she has presented and published papers in these areas nationally and internationally. Her doctoral reaaerch is an in depth exploration of altruistic personality and pro social behaviour in young adults.
